Book Sales and Donations

Books! Books! Books!

The main source of revenue for the Friends of the Studio City Library has been their monthly book sales on the last Saturday of each month. Friends' members are admitted at 9 A.M. and the general public is admitted at 10 AM. The sale ends at 2 PM.

Books are for sale at bargain prices - hard cover books for $1.00, oversized soft cover books for $ .50, and paperbacks for $ .25. Children's books are $.50 for hard cover and $ .25 for soft cover. They also sell videos, CD'S and books on tape for $1.00, and DVDs for $2.00. (All prices are subject to change.) Special books of greater value such as table-top books, art books, etc. may be specially priced. There are discounts available to teachers who are buying books for their classrooms.

Supply and types of donated books are constantly changing, but are always interesting. They have cook books, health books, mysteries, fiction, non-fiction, poetry and prose, travel and foreign language books, etc.

Donations
Donations are accepted in "good enough condition to be resold", each Saturday at the library between 10 A.M. and 2 P.M. at the meeting room patio doors. Friends of the Studio City Library is a nonprofit organization and can provide tax deductible receipts for donations.
